This abstract collage was created at an art retreat in the South of France. It's framed and matted under glass.
As I was strolling through an outside market with friends in the village of de Sarlat, France one day we found a side street offering unique thrifty shops. There were so many treasures to explore but I eventually settled on some lovely postcards and a vintage poster advertisement for de Sarlat with the word... (Visuel). One postcard brought back memories of my mother and our mutual love of flowers. One reminded me of my sister and I when we were elementary school age. The last postcard used reminded me of all the incredible cathedrals I had visited in Europe and how thrilled my Mom was that I was able to travel seeing beautiful places in the world.
