"Fall Vibes" mixed media acrylic canvas painting with wire hanger on back.
This experimental painting series used fall trees as subject matter and was created using several different art techniques. Applying a textured white paste to the first layer created depth but took quite some time for the drying process. Working with THIS dried texture became tricky using a charcoal pencil to sketch the tree composition. Applying acrylic paint as the next layer was time consuming especially having to use different brush strokes to cover the textured paste. Despite the learning curve I enjoyed discovering this new process and loved the way this fall tree series turned out!
