"Brigid from Ireland" (22x28) acrylic painting matted with black frame, wire hanger on back.
This abstract expressive painting on paper was created during an artist retreat in Mulranny Ireland. After traveling throughout the MAGICAL Emerald Isle and learning information about the Celtic Goddess of Brigid known for her healing, fertility and fire; I was inspired to paint my abstract interpretation of her wearing a Celtic Knot brooch standing in a mysterious forest of tree spirits.
